La caminata de Jamachok y vuelta
La caminata Jamacho es una excelente caminata muy cerca de la ciudad. La caminata Jamacho brinda una oportunidad increíble para descubrir la naturaleza alrededor de Katmandú. Hay cuatro grandes colinas cerca de Katmandú, a saber, Phulchoki, Shivapuri, Chandragiri y Nagarjun. La colina más alta que rodea Katmandú es Phulchoki y la más pequeña es Nagarjun. Jamacho es en realidad un pequeño santuario budista ubicado en la cima de las colinas de Nagarjun. Accesible también por camino de tierra, pero principalmente la gente va a hacer senderismo allí. A poca distancia del centro de la ciudad en la carretera Trishuli de Katmandú, también popular por el nombre de la carretera Pasang Lhamu después del nombre de la primera mujer nepalesa que subió el monte Everest. Se puede llegar fácilmente a la puerta Fulbari. En la puerta Fulbari, se encuentra un puesto de control del ejército. Compre el boleto para el parque nacional ya que Jamacho está dentro del parque nacional Shivpuri-Nagarjun. Una caminata cuesta arriba continua de aproximadamente 2-3 horas que cubre 5 km de distancia lleva al lugar llamado Jamacho. La vista panorámica del valle de Katmandú y las montañas nevadas (en días despejados) son increíblemente bonitos desde Jamachok. Hay un pequeño monasterio a Padmasambhav que también se encuentra en la parte superior. La gente de pueblos locales va allí para hacer las oraciones y ofrecer la lámpara de mantequilla al Guru Rimpoché. Avistamiento de los diferentes animales y aves también muy común. La belleza natural en el camino es inimaginable. Después de llegar a la cima, uno puede meditar solo, leer un libro, hacer algunas fotos del valle de Katmandú y la vuelta del mismo camino para llegar a la puerta Fulbari. El vehículo que espera allí recoge a las personas y las traslada al hotel respectivo.

Detail itinerary
Day 01: Drive from Kathmandu to Arughat (570m/1,870ft)
After breakfast at the hotel, you will board a local bus departing for Arughat in morning. This is an interesting drive along the scenic Highway. The bus makes two stops, once for breakfast and once for lunch. After a seven hour drive you will arrive in Arughat. After a brief rest at the lodge at Arughat, you can walk around the town and explore the surrounding areas. Stay overnight at lodge.
Day 02: Trek to Soti Khola(730m/2,395ft)
After hot breakfast at the lodge the stone paved trail leads towards north of the valley which is along the bank of the river. There are rice farm on the way and also small forest where you can see monkeys. You will enjoy your walk through Magar and Gurung village along the way and also few water fall pass through. Stay overnight at Soti Khola.
